There were a large number of changes that we had to learn to adjust to during the pandemic. With most people unable to meet in person and coordinate, we found that companies and businesses were making some amendments to their rules. For the longest time, companies worked on creating rules and systems for their staff but had to change everything almost immediately because people were now getting all their work done remotely. Most companies who could adapt and get their employees to work remotely were moving to remote working, while others could not change because of the work that they were doing.

As a company that works with dumpsters by renting them out, we work closely with construction companies and to a much smaller degree, within the hospitality industry. Unfortunately for us, both of these industries, for the most part, had to function in person and could not function remotely. They had to wait for the infection rate to get better or the Government to make changes to the rules they implemented, so they could get back to working again.

Most people think that working with a company that rents dumpsters is easy because they can pick any company at random, but that is not true. To assist with the process of selecting the right company when getting dumpsters for your construction or any other requirements, here are a few points that you can follow so you are working in the right direction.

1. Reliability
When beginning a new project, a dumpster can play a pivotal role in a job running smoothly. For example, having an accessible and empty container when needed while it was also serviced to meet the client’s requirements is crucial for a productive workday. If you end up working with a company that does not handle the container on time or comes by to collect the stuff that is in the container, you end up working with quite an inefficient system which might be counterproductive.

2. Informative
Having a knowledgeable industry professional can assist in many ways. They would help not only to save money by getting exactly what you need, but the placement and overall use of containers to benefit customers. Depending on the various uses that a container has, different containers could serve multiple purposes. Additionally, the size and the amount of time they are needed should be coordinated beforehand.

3. Punctuality
Having a reliable company that will stand by what was agreed upon is important. Delivery time, additional containers and removal can all affect the rate and flow of a job. Customers should look for a company that is consistent in doing what the customer asks. They have to make sure they find someone who can also suggest options and alternatives give them the best deal while also meeting their deadlines.

4. Honesty
As a company, we believe in what we quote is what the customer gets. We do not believe in hidden fees that could rapidly increase a customer’s bill. Being upfront about what you should expect on a customer’s final bill is what we think is right and fair. We believe that clients should agree on everything they want and get an estimate upfront otherwise, the conversation can be tricky later. The only challenge is that clients usually want to change to a few things, which automatically changes the costs.

5. Customer care
Functional equipment, on-time deliveries, removals when needed, and overall good customer communication are critical factors in making a customer’s job operate smoothly and build a positive customer relationship. For the most part, we want to work with most of our clients for the duration of the project, and in many cases, they come back because they have a new project we can assist with. We make sure we are open with our clients, so they know what to expect.
